Welcome to ServicePark.co.uk ("ServicePark", "we", "us", or "our"). ServicePark provides a free vehicle service tracking and reminder platform designed for automotive enthusiasts. By accessing or using our website, mobile applications, or services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must:
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.
ServicePark provides the following features:
While we strive to provide continuous access to the Service, we do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. We may suspend, withdraw, or restrict access to all or part of the Service for business or operational reasons. We will provide reasonable notice where practicable.
ServicePark is a record-keeping tool only. We do not provide professional automotive, mechanical, or legal advice. Information on the Service should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional consultation. You are solely responsible for the maintenance and care of your vehicle(s).
Imported MOT history is a copy of records supplied by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) for convenience. It is not an official MOT certificate, is not a substitute for checking MOT status on GOV.UK, and does not mean ServicePark is affiliated with DVSA, the Department for Transport, or any other government body.
You retain ownership of all data, information, photographs, documents, and other content you upload to the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant ServicePark a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. If you transfer or release a vehicle, that licence also allows us to make the related history available to the new keeper.
You agree that your User Content will not:
You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all information you enter into the Service. Where we import MOT history or vehicle details from DVSA, that information may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. ServicePark is not responsible for any consequences arising from inaccurate or incomplete data, including missed service deadlines, expired documentation, or vehicle-related issues. You should verify important dates and results against official sources.
While we implement industry-standard backup procedures, you are strongly advised to maintain your own backup copies of important documents and records. ServicePark is designed to work alongside, not replace, your physical records.
Transferring or releasing a vehicle on ServicePark moves or holds digital service history on the platform. It does not transfer legal title to the vehicle, and it is not a substitute for completing a V5C or any other official change of keeper.
If you start a transfer, you will receive a private link and a short code. Anyone who uses that link or code and accepts the transfer will take over the vehicle and its ServicePark history. Share them only with the intended new keeper. An optional email notifies the recipient; it does not by itself stop someone else with the link or code from accepting. Once accepted, you lose access to the vehicle and its records. Your personal jobs list for that vehicle is deleted and does not transfer.
If you release a vehicle, it leaves your garage and reminders stop. History stays on ServicePark for a future keeper. Where a VIN has been provided, we store only a one-way hash and use it to check that a claimant can enter the matching VIN. That check shows they know the VIN on the V5C; it is not a legal proof of ownership. If no VIN is on file, a claim cannot be completed automatically.
You must only transfer, release, or claim a vehicle if you are entitled to do so. Claiming or accepting a vehicle you are not entitled to may result in the history being returned and your account being suspended or terminated.
You agree not to:
Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate termination of your account and may expose you to civil and/or criminal liability.
Unless otherwise stated, ServicePark and/or its licensors own all intellectual property rights in the Service, including but not limited to the website design, software, source code, databases, functionality, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics (collectively, the "Content"). These works are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This licence does not include any right to:
The ServicePark name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of ServicePark or its affiliates. You may not use such marks without our prior written permission. All other names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are the trademarks of their respective owners.
We take your privacy seriously. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at https://servicepark.co.uk/info/privacy-policy. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. You have certain rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, and port your data. For more information, please see our Privacy Policy.
We will never sell your personal data to third parties. Your vehicle records and service history are private by default, though you may choose to share them by transferring a vehicle, releasing it for a future keeper to claim, or publishing a public vehicle profile. If you publish a public vehicle profile, imported MOT tests and defects may be visible on that profile.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services that are not owned or controlled by ServicePark. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.
In particular, we retrieve MOT test history from the DVSA MOT History API using the registration mark you provide. Availability, completeness, and accuracy of that data are outside our control. DVSA may change, suspend, or withdraw the API at any time.
You acknowledge and agree that ServicePark shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of any such third-party content, goods, or services.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SERVICEPARK DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
You are solely responsible for monitoring your vehicle's service requirements, MOT dates, insurance renewals, and all other maintenance needs. ServicePark's reminder features and imported MOT history are provided as a convenience only and should not be relied upon as your sole method of tracking important dates. We are not liable for missed deadlines, expired documentation, or any consequences arising from failure to maintain your vehicle.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SERVICEPARK, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION:
This limitation applies whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis, even if ServicePark has been advised of the possibility of such damage.
Because the Service is provided free of charge, to the extent that the Service is provided without payment of a fee, ServicePark shall have no liability for any direct loss or damage.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ServicePark, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your use or misuse of the Service; (c) your User Content; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected] or using the account deletion feature within the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:
Upon termination: (a) your right to access and use the Service will cease immediately; (b) we will use reasonable efforts to delete your data within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements; and (c) provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part or feature thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on our website with the "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be notified to users via email or prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
If you have any dispute with us, you agree to first contact us at [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make a good faith effort to resolve disputes amicably.
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims).
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ServicePark regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms to any third party without your consent. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to or shall operate to create a partnership or joint venture between you and ServicePark, or authorize either party to act as agent for the other.
ServicePark shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of its obligations under these Terms arising out of any cause beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, network infrastructure failures, strikes, or shortages of transportation facilities, fuel, energy, labour, or materials.
If you have any questions, concerns, or complaints about these Terms or the Service, please contact us:
We aim to respond to all enquiries within 5 business days.
We welcome and encourage you to provide feedback, comments, and suggestions for improvements to the Service ("Feedback"). You may submit Feedback by emailing us at [email protected]. You acknowledge and agree that all Feedback will be the sole and exclusive property of ServicePark and you hereby irrevocably assign to ServicePark all of your right, title, and interest in and to all Feedback. ServicePark shall be free to use, disclose, reproduce, license, or otherwise distribute and exploit the Feedback as it sees fit, without obligation or compensation to you.
BY USING THE SERVICE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THEM. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, YOU MUST NOT ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE.
